About Rodolfo Sáenz
My name is Rodolfo Sáenz and I am 59 years old. I started making bamboo furniture when I was 17 years old. At the age of 24 I spent some time in Europe. I moved to Belgium with my family and immersed myself in the life of the Belgians. At the same time I gained plenty of new experience in construction. In France I had the opportunity to give courses in building bamboo furniture.
Upon returning to Costa Rica, I shifted my focus to bamboo construction and started working with materials such as acrilla and adobe. I completed several projects using bamboo and barro. For over 10 years, I have been conducting numerous courses on house construction, bamboo furniture making, and working with adobe.
